Dialup Usernames by default run in the format of pow + username + @genericrealmname where the genericrealmname would be @usa, @world.net, @surf.net, @pop.net, or @dual.usa depending on the network. Note: Option 2 and Option 3 cannot be used together. How do ISDN and multilink work? ISDN requires a digital phone line that must be installed by the phone company. It also requires an ISDN digital modem which can be purchased at any computer store or provided by the phone company. ISDN can be used on our network at speeds of 64k or 128k. 128k ISDN runs at the rate of 2x a normal account cost. Multilink requires that the customer install 2 modems in their computer and have two phone lines to dial-up available. The customer would connect using both lines and modems in their computer and the computers dialup networking multilink capability would combine the speeds to double their overall internet speed. Multilink also runs at the rate of 2x a normal dial-up account cost. What is your spam policy? We have 0 TOLERANCE for spam. The account will be cancelled immediately by the networks if they find the account spam. We are the user of the 4 networks, and we have to pay them for our customers' connection. If our customer's account is cancelled, we lose money. Do you support Opt-in List? We do not support opt-in or spam email. All of this falls under the category of bulk email which is prohibited in our TOS. Do you provide filter account? Yes, We provide Filter Account at extra $6/Mo per account. We will give you detail information after you have registered. Can I have your free 30MB with my own domain? No. But you are always welcome to register a beginner hosting plan with 300MB web space. Do you support 112k multi-link & ISDN 128k Yes, the price will be X2 How is the Starnet ISDN hours calculated? Starnet ISDN accounts(@usa, @dual.usa) are limited to 300 channel hours per month. If a user logs on once as an ISDN user during the month, they become "limited" even if they log on analog for the rest of the month. The 300 hours is for both 64k and 128k ISDN. This means that if a user uses 128k(@dual.usa) the whole month, they are given 150 total dual hours of online time. If they log in 64k during the month, they are given 300 total single hours of online time. We are aware that these limitations may be strange based on the fact that 128k ISDN accounts cost 2x as much however we have no control over this issue and must pass along the Starnet policies on calculating these hours and limitations. Can I check how many hours I have used ? @surf.net and Startnet networks have 450 Hours Internet Access time ( 15 hours per day ). It should be enough for non-dedicated users. Can I access the Internet in different area code ? Yes, You can access the Internet anywhere in North America, but you need to modify your information and your area code. These features may not immediately be available with all ISPs. Is Modem-On-Hold (MOH) supported in your V92 locations We do not currently support the use of MOH in any V.92 locations.
