If you installed the Desktop Notifier, you can set Web-Based Email as your default program when clicking a 'mailto' link on a Web site. For more information, see Installing Desktop Notifier.
NOTE: The Desktop Notifier is only available for Windows.
To Use Web-Based Email for mailto: Links
- From the Windows Start menu, under All Programs, select Web-Based Email, and then click Desktop Notifier.
- In your system tray, right-click the envelope icon, and then select Settings.
- Select Enable mailto: links.
- Click Close.
