What is a Multiple Domain (UCC) SSL Certificate? Unified Communications Certificates (UCC) are SSL Certificates that secure multiple domains and multiple hostnames within a domain. They allow you to secure up to 100 domain names in a single certificate and can consolidate all your secure domains into one certificate. UC Certificates support Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Live Communications Server.UC Certificates are compatible with shared hosting; however, the site seal and certificate "Issued To" will only be for the primary domain. Please note that any secondary hosting accounts will be listed in the certificate as well - if a customer does not want one site appearing as 'connected' to another, they should not use this type of certificate. UC Certificates are available in Standard and Deluxe forms.Standard (UC) certificate will require domain validation. This certificate type was formerly known as Turbo. Deluxe (UC) certificate will require domain and business validation. This certificate type was formerly known as High-Assurance (HA).
