If you choose not to use the Plesk control panel to manage your Windows virtual dedicated server, you can use Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection to access and manage your virtual dedicated server.

To Access Your Virtual Dedicated Server Using Remote Desktop Connection

1. From the Start Menu in Windows XP, select All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection.

2. Enter the  IP address for your server.

   NOTE: You can find your IP address in your Virtual Dedicated Hosting Manager.

3. Enter your user name and password:

   User Name

   Use either "Administrator" or the User ID you defined when you set up your account.

   Password

   As defined during account setup.
